Now, more than ever, we are witnessing a transformative shift in education, one that seeks to empower our children for the future.

At Green Oak Home Ed, we are committed to fostering this change through our Waldorf-inspired approach, which emphasises child-centered learning. By prioritising the unique interests of each child and allowing them to develop at their own pace, we create a nurturing environment where curiosity thrives and creativity flourishes.

Our Provision

Located in the heart of Stanmer Park, Brighton, we are proud to offer a transformative
learning experience rooted in Waldorf-inspired principles. Our part-time programme runs
from 9:45am to 3:15pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Each day begins with a Main Topic session that seamlessly integrates various subjects, our program promotes cross-curricular connections, allowing students to see the relationships between different disciplines.

The insights gained in Main Topic sessions
are reinforced and expanded upon in Skills and Art sessions, creating a cohesive experience with an enriching blend of knowledge and social interaction.

Our Groups

Our programme provides a nurturing environment for home-educated children to gather, engaging in groups that resonate with their developmental stages.

Equally important is the opportunity for them to engage socially and learn collaboratively from their peers, stepping beyond the familiarity of their home-schooling families.

Testimonials

"My 14yr old joined in September and is so happy to learn every day. She is blossoming and showing true eagerness to be with her teachers and friends every day at Stanmer. Thank you for the whole team for making this possible. We are seriously grateful and happy to be in the community. Anyone wanting an alternative GCSE programme - this is brilliant! We highly recommend it"

"Imagine a place where you can explore the history of the world and create art, read stories, conjure up characters and make them come to life. A place where learning is not laden with fear of failure or competition. A place where you can connect with nature, climb trees, get muddy, experience awe, laugh and play with people who respect you and value your company.
You don't need to imagine...because it's real...Green Oak IS imagination in real life..."

Louise -Tour

"Your warmth, commitment, skills and passion shone through and it was obvious that your pupils are so lucky to have the opportunities that you and your team are providing.

The strong sense of calm, happiness, engagement and creativity was clearly apparent as we walked through each room. It was also great to see the wonderful, positive relationships that you have built with individuals"
